ICT, or information and communications technology, is the infrastructure and components that enable modern computing. Although there is no single, universal definition of ICT, the term is generally accepted to mean all devices, networking component, applications and systems that combined allow people and organizations to interact in the digital world. Educational ICT examples: *Lore: The new startup is using a Facebook type platform- riding the wave of what works- and tailoring it for education. This social network allows professors and students to communicate, follow one another, and discuss class work and lectures. *LEAP motion: LEAP has developed a piece of hardware that allows anyone to write, draw, play, and interact with their computer screen using a fingers, or entire hand. *Papertab: Papertab won’t be ready to use in 2013, but I think it’s interesting enough to include it in this list. *Chromebooks: Despite the rising popularity of table...
